Having Trouble?
Green Triangles, formula
refering to enpty cells
Are you seeing a lot of cells containing little green triangles in the upper left corner?
When you click on these green triangles, are you seeing a message about "Formula Refers to Empty Cell"?

This is a default setting for Micorosft Excel and is not an indication of anything wrong, Bill Organizer will work just fine like this. There is an easy way to get ride of these green triangles by following the instructions below.

  1. Within Microsoft Excel go to Preferences.
  2. Look for an option called Error Checking" and select it.
  3. Look for an item titled Flag formulas that refer to empty cells and uncheck it.
  4. Click OK to close Preferences.

  5. So whats this all about anyway?
Microsoft Excel has many built in tools to ensure the user understands anything that could be a problem. Bill Organizer utilizes hundreds of formulas to calculate all sorts of things. It does this based on information you are entering as you are using the tool including Empty Cells. I find these gree triangles distracting and so I turn them off and recomend you do the same.
